Function: if the LED light is o.k. and it complies with the ECE regulation, the LK 100 switches on a high power resistor (in parallel to the LED light). In case of a LED
defect (or values below ECE regulation), the high power resistor will be switched off and the DI relais recognizes the failure because of the missing power.

(1) all newly developed LED lights (incl. „LDC“ ->
LED-Defect-Control) can be used with LK 100b-1. For old light models
special versions of LK 100 are required (LK 100-2 / -3…)
